Fully suspended 185s $100

I pick this bad boy up last night. 1982 Honda 185s I think the "S" stands for special. Fiberglass fenders front and back.

The S stands for 'small'. You have the ATC185 andATC200: both are pull start only, chain drive and have the 3 piece rear fenders, rigid front end.
Then you have the S's: pull start only, aluminum legged front forks, single piece rear fender/seat, physically smaller then all the other 185/200's.
And the 200M: electric start, pull start back up, chain drive, hi/lo no reverse.

the swinger looks like Shortline's HPATC swinger,, the triples are throwing me off. They look like PCCC but idk if that's what the PCCC look like exactly or not.

Someone that knows better than me will chime in though and tell you what you've got!!

Either way, I am INSANELY jealous!!

Glad you got it stephon,, That bike and another sat on craigs for months and I just kept passing on them because I didnt have the $ to completely restore them. Buys like this on suspended hardtails (thats right lol...) are not uncommon in AZ.

Doch, this one is different I know the add your talking about. This atc is in much better shape. I'm gonna try to get the ones your talking about too, I wanna build them up and try to get the mx track we are racing at to let some younger trike enthusiasts race in there own class.

that's a pretty bad A** looking trike!! I love the body and seat! I like the older, style gas tanks a lot more than the shrouded , faked aero dynamic looking ones like my Yamaha has! Id much prefer if mine had a more, YZ (1980-81) look too it! lol

There's always a lot of rare/cool stuff to be had in any area, you just gotta be quick or know how to find it. I've found quite a few very rare things in my area for cheap.

This one was just listed as a 185 with no pictures. I called the guy and asked him for some pictures and about had a heart attack. A friend of mine said he saw the add the same morning and just kept browsing thinking it was just another junk 185. It pays to be a bother

I thought the same thing until I was talking to an old Honda service tech about them and he kept referring to S standing for "small"

that engine is not stock. so be prepaired for some cool stuff inside. if it was mine, I would do a re-gasket, replace the rings and get the top end refreshed with new valve job. then get ready for some fun.

I finally had some time to sit down and clean the carb out, recoiled the pullstart spring and rob some missing pieces from a 90cc atc pullstart. Within about an hour my buddy Tim and I had it pop'n wheelies. It's gonna need a different set of rear tires cause current set are different sizes, I think it was set up to race a circle track.
