My custom trike is not finished yet.I am cutting up a 4-zinger frame, and welding a 125m front end on.The color scheme is red and black with some polished aluminum.Red and black would be sweet, like that 350x that is here on the boards.Wouldn't be original though. There was a tri-z with a custom job on here not long ago...The post was "510 tri-z". Hope this helps..

I just bought a spare frame off e-bay for my Honda 250r atc and I am going to get it power coated bright red. Powder coat holds up much better then paint. I would hate to spend a bunch of time preping a frame shooting the paint and clear coating it. Then taking it out the first time and a rock flys up and chips it. That would hurt. I like to ride mine on the trails and if had a fancy paint job on it I would not want to take it out in the woods and thrash on it. Good luck Glenn Oister

Oh you get places like sumax that charge like $350-$400,or my local powdercoater does frames for $150.To have it painted will cost about $100,but like bushwacker51 said,it won't last as long.

I checked and the local powder coat company said they will charge me 130.00 bucks to powder coat my frame. I know you can paint it cheaper but paint dosent hold up as well and stripping everything off the frame to get it powdercoated will be a nightmare and I dont want to have to do that again anytime soon good luck with your decession

I have a very good friend who has a '86 250r that fades from midnight blue metallic to white with a blue pearl. Obviously it is not ridden in the woods but only on the ice and the semi annual trip to Silver Lake Dunes. I don't think I have any pics on the computer of it but if I come across one I'll post it for you. My 330r frame is powdercoated sterling silver metallic.
