85 350X frame cracks

Could someone describe or show me where the 85 350X frame cracks are common? I may be going to look at a 350X today and would like to know where to look for the cracks. ETA: Any other pointers or tips on issues or potential issues to look for would be appreciated also. ;)

Above the left foot peg.

Around the rear seat mounts.

Look for crank case damage in front of the chain. Many have holes wear broken chains punched through.

You`re gonna gusset it any damn way......xr650 project ?.......don`t pay too much ...like no more then $900.......i recommend Honda`s awesome atc 250r instead .

I was thinkin 900-1200. It has electric start, but that's why I asked about the frame cracks, so I could get myself a price range.

A 250R is on the list. One of each ya know? I already have a 200X (well, a couple and they are both in the project stage, but a guy can't have too many projects right? ;) )

Pickens have been kinda slim up here this summer. They're either junk or high buck machines, and not many 350X's or 250R's

I did do a search in Trikesylvania, read a couple threads, etc. Never hurts to reask a question and maintain verificatiojn. :)
