kicker on 82 250r

My kicker starter is loose.. when im riding it swings to the front (where you get ready to kick start it) I keep having to move it back to the left (out of the way) is there a spring to buy?

Sounds like the small ball detent on the kicker lever is worn out or a groove is worn into the lower portion that doesn't turn.

Quick and easy way is buy another kicker. If the ball detent is shot I'm not an expert at fixing that, if it is grooved out you would have to build it back up with a welder.

yep it is worn down just put a new one on!!!
