View Full Version : 2000x clutch slipping when i turn???? need help!!

ok lets say im compplettley stopped then when i start takeign off im turning al the way but i lett the clutch all the way out and it is slipping but if i turn staright itll catch like its suppose to.

abotu hor far shoudl i have to let out of the clutch before it starts to take off? seems like it catching right when the clutch lever has no more room to let out???

coudl soem one tell me how to fix this problem

It sounds like you may have you clutch cable adjusted way too tight. Does it slip on both right and left turns or just left?

To me it sounds like a clutch cable routing or adjustment problem.
Start by adjusting your clutch cable. There is 2 places to adjust it.
Up by the lever and down on the other end right beside the jug. You need to adjust it so you have around 3/4" ( that is where I set mine ) of lever movement before the lever starts disengaging the clutch.

Wow! 2000X! I think you would need some type of custom billet dry type clutch mechanism for all of that extra horsepower your large displacment will provide. Perhaps hard annodized with some cryogenic treatment for some extea hardness. Just jokes, its probably an adjustment like Howdy and the others said.
