So ya... On my last week off I drove from Cold Lake to Regina to pic up these Commuter 390's.
I am pretty sure I will restore one and if I am right, the other might become a Granger 340.
Not much out there when it comes to documentation, I have downloaded a copy of Howdy's brochure scans of the granger and sasquatch, but I am on the lookout for other documents and hard copies like what I did for the Pacesetter.
So if you happen to have or come accross any please let me know. Ty ya'll.

I had one a few years back. Mine had a rod knock when I sold it. The guy who bought mine has 4-5 of them. he puts a single cyclinder diesel engine in them. They are tanks thats for sure. I have a couple of Cennex's I want to restore that are real close to these.

Better workout than the gym. You'll use muscles you never thought existed LOL

Rear suspension but no front suspension? Seems they did the opposite of what all the big companies did.

Yea, kinda strange... But, I drove one of my pacesetters for a bit and found it to be quite comfortable on bumpy ground. And if you think about it... Your arms can obsorb and adjust to the shock from the steering front better than your back can on a hardtail.

I am still much uninformed about the Cenex, Manco and others like it... I think I will start a thread to see what info we can gather and maybe i'll find some old posts about them.

I think I would rather have any one of the 200 hardtails have rear suspension than front. Would save my back big time.

What do these bring in really great condition? Like the 390?

It all depends on how much someone is willing to buy it for and the seller letting it go for.

Matt got a lead on a guy that worked for commuter ind. as a salesman he is gonna see what literature he has. He's sure he has squatch & granger but is gonna dig to see what else. Very informative conversation with him explained T= transaxle E= electric 3=3 wheeler 80= 8hp kohler. 390 same but 90= 9hp kawasaki will pass along other info once I get it as well as some other stuff he told me

That is top notch! I am like a kid on Christmas eve waiting for the info... :Bounce
I would love to get my hands on the original literature, manuals and whatnot. :beer
