ATC250R Chain Tensioner

Anyone ever seen a funk-da-fied chain tensioner like this? Is it really necessary given the way a 250r chain is tensioned? :wondering

Saw a NOS Bapp tensioner just like that for the 1st gen 250r not to long ago. Pretty different that is for sure.

I've always wanted to weld on a bracket and use a rear banshee slider to help keep the chain aligned.

Nice ingenuity, is that the lower half of the chain that shows the master chain clip on backwards?? If so, flip that puppy around......

DCThank you for the compliment. The clip is on the right way .I put an arrow on it to show the closed end going towards rear sprocket. This chain tensioner is designed with adjustible spring tension and the wheel can be adjusted in and out. 198981
