I need some inspiration to build a little trailer to haul behind my Big Red 250. It's primary use will be to haul supplies and deer in and out of the woods. Show some pictures of yours if you have one.
Thanks

I know you said you were going to build it yourself. But I bought this, it was either Home Depot or Wal-Mart, and you can see the tag is still on it. It was only $153, and you could hardly build one for that price! I admit it was 8 or 9 years ago, but still...

Update: I checked and it WAS Wal-Mart. However, now the price is up to $236.

I have no pics but about 10 years ago my buddy built a full suspension trailer that he pulled behind his 400 ex. He made it from sctatch but I cant seem to find any pics. I have contacted him so we will see if he gets back to me. I haven't seen or heard from him in a few years but the last time we talked he still had the trailer and a couple of them half done. Ill lat u know if he gets back with me. good luck.

Here are a couple pictures of the trailers I have. Made to haul firewood. The wagon has a front end from a golf cart. Unless you have access to all the parts you would be better off buying one. I had the stuff and my nephew is a welder.

Built this for dragging deer out of the woods... 1"x2" frame, solid axle with turned down 400ex hubs and front wheels/tires. Extremely light weight, and very tough. I wouldnt hessitate to put 4-500 lbs of critters on there and drag them out of the woods... Probably spent $125 to build it, but I worked as a fabricator and own my own welder.

Don't know much about the history of this one but the ramp is good for dragging things up - the bed is low for lifting onto - and the track is wider than the trike so although you get five wheelmarks, each mark is only run on once.

This one has an Aframe drawbar I fit to it but it's a PITA to reverse!

I have two plastic dump trailers. One from Tractor Supply, the other from Lowes. Very heavy duty impact resistant. Have had them for about 7 years now, and I've loaded them up with every bit of 450-500lbs. Not over priced either. There is a company called Polar something, that makes single and tandem axle trailers for atvs, and are rated at 1500lbs. Cost $500-750.

Awesome! Thanks guys - I decided to buy the Harbor Frieght 40x48 trailer and used a 25% off coupon and got it for $157 free shipping. I really like the idea of using the atv tires like most of you have above. I will probably buy some adapters and throw some old atv tires on there
