so i just pick this thing up last night. i was never a huge fan of these suzuki's but this thing was too cool to pass up. it needs a little tlc on the suspension and carb and other adjustments but its in pretty nice shape still. and it has surprisingly decent power for a 125.

Very cool, what a great find. Don't know if you'll be able to find that exact shock. I would look into seeing if you can get that shock rebuilt. If not, you may have to find a decent substitute of some kind. Measure length and shock eye socket ends and maybe try to find a shock from a street bike. A close substitute is better than a blown out shock in any case. Good luck with the hunt.

If I were you I would go though the regular maintence checks and get that thing ready to go back out on the track.
Did the PO have any history on the thing? Know what mods it has besides the obvious visual upgrades?

These suzuki's don't have a huge following but how could you pass that one up. Plus the fenders are in good shape.

Love that machine, that would of made my 185 near perfect. Snap some pics of rear with the plastics off sometime.

the shock is a non rebuild able so i will need to find a substitute but it sure does beat having nothing. definitely needs a oil change, new chain, front tire, air filter and some lubing up. i do plan on adding a larger carb first to it, might dig into the engine for some more mods. i will take pics with the fenders off soon.

Absolutely fascinating. I don't recall ever seeing one with the full suspension. Cool.

Very cool indeed. I also gotta say I've never seen an ALT with full suspension. what are your plans for the front end? It'd look badasss with a one piece fender.

What's the length on the shock? 14 1/2 with like a 12mm eye will be a 85/86 LT250R front shock. They are easy to find and cheap. Even Works pieces
