On my dad's '85 Honda TRX 125, you can adjust the idling and the mixture screw to adjust the lean\richness. On my Big Red 250, all there is is a idle speed (black plastic around it) or am I wrong. Is there a way to adjust the mixture or is it just by changing jets. I would just like to know why.

On the 200es, the mixture adjustment (fuel) is on the front side of the carb facing down. It's tough to get to on mine- I have to use one of those mini screwdrivers

The mixture screw on the 250es is adjusted from the bottom of the carb with a stubby flat screwdriver positioned vertically. it is difficult to get at. I had to cut a 1/2" off the handle of my stubby screwdriver to do the job with the engine running.
