I think that there needs to be an auto-delete installed on this site !!! when the ole 200r comes up without pictures WHAMMM,,, it gets deleted,,,

I think that in order to start a new 200R post, you MUST have pics prior to posting.

To answer your question the 200R was a modified 250R that ran in the 200cc class. IF it's a legit machine in the condition you describe it is worth quite a bit, I'd guess about $1500 or so. I haven't seen many of these sell so I am guestimating a little here. It is very important to get pics of this as there are fakes and misinformed sellers out there.

I would actually prefer a 200R - for some reason I am a throttle junky and I just ride over my head sometimes in too tight an area. If it was a 200CC powere plant I'm certain it would still fly but for tight MX riding and trails I would prefer my mistakes to be less dramatic.

Are these kits still available and anyone know where??

Yes I agree - pictures should be a requirement for a 200CC R post!!

I have not seen this machine nor have i ever seen one, i dont need it, its more of a collection item for me. That is why i asked everyone about this machine so if it is a 200R im aware of a round about figure on what its worth and how much to pay. if i do buy it i will post picks. thank you for reading my thread and any imput is appreciated.

All depends on it's condition mechanically and cosmetics wise. Typical 250R price tag of 1000$ to 2000$. Sounds like it's just a sleeved down cylinder with slightly less power - I don't think it would have much affect on it's value unless it has numerous additional mods.

Even if the piston is discontinued a new sleeve can be installed or an EBAY jug and new piston would get you back to stock.
