here is my 85 ATC200X Haspin MX entry....probably flat-tracker too if we can pull that off
all done but for maybe one more Main rejet and a pilot jet which I will take care of this week. Now just wrapping up the LifanX rear brake pedal fab and clear coat his fuel tank, install the new petcock and plumb (pics to come on that one soon)
cutting it close but hey, I`m all over it!!!

just turn your monitor sideways I guess
I turned mine sideways. It makes the mouse hard to control, but it was well worth the effort guys.
Looks FANTASTIC!!! Good Luck at Haspin!

runs ok so far....only been up and down the road on pavement trying to work out the dreaded "off-idle stumble"
I have to pick up so more plugs tonight after work and then try and get the slow jet worked out. It has a 28mm Keihin PWK on it.....cost me quite a bit in jets to even get a relative baseline (main is 120 right now and pilot is a 42) figured out. I may run into issues tuning it with the 2 stroke needle (carb is off a YZ85) it has in it but I have some 4 stroke profile needles I can try and then have some Idea of what profile to settle on. The needle shroud was already real short for a 2 stroke so I left it alone (4`s have short shroud or flush to the bottom of the carb throat from what I can tell)....hope I don`t have to mess with the slide cutaway. That would get expensive.
My neighbor is a GNCC racer/ engine builder and I also can get some help from a customer of ours who wrenches for Bill Balance. They have already helped me tremendously figure out proper carb tuning.
I really cant make an accurate assessment of the cam profile/ engine combo yet until I get it jetted dead nuts or close (for my altitude and barometric pressure, of course)....feels STRONG at mid-high RPM range, though.
oh.....and the Duros aren`t permanent. I have another set of new Trekkers to run depending on what the track feels like

@ Mr. Clean.....Hey thanks a bunch for fixing those pics.
@ everybody else...Thanks for the compliments and I mean that. I`m extra flattered when it comes from the people here. Let me say that I didn`t really try to make it look that nice. I just waited patiently for the really NICE stuff and I was duly rewarded. Most of the parts came from here and Ebay and ALL the knowledge to put it together came from here. Without 3WW and its members, I would have butchered this.
I got the Durablue +4 from KASEY here. I got the idea to get a 1st Gen 250R axle from DC and flip it. Rear sprocket is 38T, front is 13.
The decal set in the original post was from pantera1975
and the only way I got even close to halfass jetting that carb was from instructions I got here. I`m still messing with it because it isn't right yet. I haven't chopped a plug either, just peered at it with a flashlight as far down the shroud as I could see and that just won`t cut it. Its still too light.
The oil cooler setup is a modified 350X oil cooler I bought in stock shape from someone here. I cut up the guard and fabbed it to mount to the frame with brackets I made so I was able to keep the screen too.
@Gazoo, Yes, they are Duros and I got the Supertrapp from here from I don`t recall who. I got it in really good condition already but I machined for a rubber grommet to keep the tab from breaking off like they do. I sprayed it with VHT header paint and baked it on. Repacked it with an FMF kit and bolted it all on. I think it`s got ten discs in.
everything else is new...top to bottom bearing wise
I did NOT rebuild the rear shock which I may regret very soon. It wasn't leaking but I should have been recharged. I completely rebuilt the forks flushed and filled with new oil (that old stuff was RANK).
the front Master cylinder is off an XR250R. The front caliper is a KX85 front and the rear is a CR80 front (I may have that backwards but Im in a hurry) THAT pc of knowledge I owe to Jason Hall I think. He played guinea pig for us all and made an astounding discovery for 200x fans. Thank you sir! The rear master is off a newer dirtbike as well. KX 85 I think.
For real though I owe all the inspiration to this place....with a shout out to 3.org and Planet Trike while it lasted....mostly though it was this place. There are and have been guys here who blow me away and I`ve seen way better 200Xs than mine get parted out. Raffa had a nice one goin I recall and Seadoo Rick had that Powroll bike ...WOW. Not to mention quite a few others.
Anyway my next project will get much more attention to detail. 85 KXT250 !!!!!!
I weld stuff

Looks really nice.
Don't worry too much about getting her dirty, that is what they are meant for.
Here is hoping you can get that carb dialed in perfect and wishing you good luck at the races!
