I recently got a BUNCH of Honda 70's and parts, one that I got has a motor out of a Honda 125. not sure if I should finish it with this motor or pull the motor and go with something different. I really want to start my very first actual BUILD and make it my own, please let me know what u think I should do. 195025195026

No offense but if you wanna make it your own, why are you asking us...:wondering

The bigger the better in my opinion. Looks like a cool project already.

No offense taken just ment would I be waisting my time trying to make this one work or would u pull it and put in a lifan pirahna chinese etc. As far as power goes I'm assuming the pit bike style motors would be better for performance?

There are tons of people here that run them so i'm sure they'll chime in soon.

Does the motor you have run? Is it the 110 with low range too? Not sure if that would be much benefit on a 70.

You haven't mentioned what you would like to do with the trike yet. In my opinion a build should follow some guidelines to a purpose built end. Once you have an idea of how you will use the trike, it may help you form an idea of what you need for parts.

EDIT: Im an idiot. I have no idea why i had the 110 engine on my mind. Thankfully Mr. Clean has HIS shite together:D.

It is a 125m motor, and would have plenty of power for a 70 chassis.

Here is one that is built, not mine. As far as what to do, figure out what you have, what you need and then price a chinese motor. That should quickly answer whether to build it as is or find another powerplant.

Lots of information here:

your sig says you have a 250r and 350x. Sell the 125 and start with at least a 140 Piranna . you will thank me later.
