I was poking around craigslist(Never a good idea) And ran across two real good deals.
194835

1984 Honda 200ES three wheeler with reverse and electric start. Direct drive with good plastic. The three wheeler has been parked in my shop for three years and it was running fine then. The back brakes are good and no front brakes. Everything there for the front brakes but they don't work or they are weak. Seat has a few small tears and the tires are almost new. It will need a battery and maybe a carb cleaned. $700
And:
194836

Good running and mechanical condition vintage 3 wheeler. I have owned it for about 6 years. Bought it from original owner. Newer brakes, air filter and oil change. 500.00 obo call or text. thanks

Now my Mama already thinks we have enough. I was looking at a worse one for 400, and the deal was, buy that, part out the 250trax. Do ya'll think it's worth parting out my 250trax, and selling my '82 200 when its finished? See below:
http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/167651-Dman-s-current-project
And offer 400 for the 200s, and 5-600 for the big red? Along with parting out the 250trax, and selling the '82 200? I also have a few more machines that can disappear.

Mama knows. I'm only 16. I'm still at home. They end up in her yard, driveway, porch, etc...

16? Great time to settle in to trikes alone. An auto assist shift RED or SX and something bigger and more powerful for you...

To each his own.

ROTFL

you could be doing a lot worse than bringing home orphaned trikes....but you gotta respect Momma.....so.................store them at your friend`s house like I used to do

I think I have a plan. Get the es down to 5-600, part out the 250Trak, along with a Trac125 I've got. If the s is still there in a month, sell the 82 and buy it.
And if I left it a buddy's, I come back to find a totaled machine, cause he is not nice to other people's stuff. And there's not to many 250 in my area, but their worn out with a ridiculous price.

good forward thinking young Skywalker.......But alas, I have thought even FURTHER ahead.......dig it.....

pull off something important to the ignition of the bike......how about this... remove the stator.....yeah, the stator....why? Because it always seems to be missing from darn near every POS I have ever "saved" from the scrap heap. This would indicate that most guys will not fix a stator apparently and would rather just leave the bike intact sans stator and then promptly lose the cover and the flywheel both. If you take off the coil, your friends can easily cobble another one and just plug and play. CDI might be a good candidate since it hides under the tank but I`m staying with stator. Lazy people HATE stators. Just a fact lol. Lucky for you, the stator is behind all the pullstart assembly to so DOUBLE WHAMMY!! hahahahahahaha.

Friends who trash stuff never try to work on anything either so I would almost guarantee that they wont touch a missing stator.....problem solved.

Showed dad the 200es just now. The man willing to let me pay 400 for a machine in between pos and good, won't let me drop 700 on a pretty dang nice one. How does that work?
