350x help!

I posted a few threads on new member but didn't get any major hits, and I just found out I became a full member.
I need advice on reinforcing my 85 350x frame
I also need advice on extending a swingarm for the same trike.
I want to extend it 3 or so inches, but dont know where to cut the swingarm or what to use to extend it.

Gusset kit from TPC. Look for threads I reinforced 350X frames.......

Extend it after the shock, tube inside, wrap outside; Thats how I go........

Use steel rect/tubing..........

Just so you know, I went the route DC suggested, as he suggested it to me; and the TPC kit worked very well. However, they say to go by the installation thread on their website, and they have not updated the install thread after they updated the kit. Took a little pre-welding layout to figure out where all the pieces went.

I just installed TPC gusset kit.There is four pieces that aren't shown.They are for the rear seat latch area.

Yep, those are the ones that aren't shown. For some reason I thought there was one other. Oh, the two that tie the frame rail into the seat latch pad, butted up hard into the air box clamps on my X, and I had to trim material off of them.

Just an FYI: I saw TPC post on FB the other day stating that as of that post they will no longer be doing 350x gusset kits. They will fulfill all orders received up to that point but will be taking no additional orders...
