My 1982 ATC200. Been working on it for awhile, takes a lot of time to remove that danged spray paint. Getting a '84 BR tank and headlight, along with homemade front rack, rear rack, headlight guard, and will be getting a spot light. Front forks, tank, and probably fenders will/is be painted Rustolem "Safety Red''. I was hoping to put a front fork extender, but can't find any. And getting a hitch from a 125TRX. Kinda stuck, don't have any clear coat right now, anyways...

that rack is nice.
You`ve definitely improved its appearance.

Thanks, first thing I've ever built with a welder. Not perfect, but I think it's pretty good.

Need some help, with two issues.
First, for some reason, the machine now idles at a trillion rpms, and wont go down, unless I put it in gear and press the brake, then it stays down, until more throttle is given.
Secondly, the paint on the rear fenders, can't get the stuff off it was sanded then painted with auto grade(same paint used on Honda motorcycles) paint and primed too. And nothing seems to really be removing the paint.

1 you most likely have an air leak somewhere causing a high idle!!
2 to remove the blue paint have you tried paint thinner mineral turps and methylated spirits??
