free play on crank

side to side play on a rod/crank is ok up and down play isn't...
or is it the other way around?

yeah, your right, side to side is ok, but up and down isnt.

my cranck i put in my 85 200x.. when i got it in there it wiggled worse then a las vegas whore... darned thing ..

my crank has just a lttle play side to side nut none up and down. since i cant find the prob with my tranny. i have another lower end that needs a crank... guess what im doing now!!!
