I've been rebuilding Honda recoils since last fall and figured I would document them as I came across all the various recoils. I'm pretty sure they are all here. Let me know if I missed any or there are any corrections

Enjoy

Cool! Always wondered how to identify each individual one. I have a few laying around that I could probably sell because I'm not using them but I forgot what they went to. Sent a link to my home email so I can benchmark when I get home! Thanks!

Apparently the Webs.com free host I’m using is case sensitive for the page name. recoilinfo vs RecoilInfo... The link above works now, and I made it mobile friendly so it looks good on all devices.

Updated the site a bit, added an old pic I had of the 185/200 housing vs the 200e so you can see the minor differences.

I used to rebuild ATC recoils all the time about 5 years ago. Done at least 100 of them but now the prices on eBay are so high it doesn't seem worth it. I would get cores for around $40, put $30 of parts into them and sell them for $99. Wasn't looking to get rich; it was more because I liked doing it and I like fixing things. $99 is less than what beat used ones go for now. Hard to justify spending ~$200 for a 185s recoil when the trike is only worth $300

Handy post, I've seen it once before but never bothered to save the link or anything. I saved it in my parts research data folder this time so I don't loose it again. There needs to be some sort of an "index" thread that can link to all of the misc info threads/measurements etc threads around.
