You can buy Honda passion red from Color Rite. They sell it in all forms, e.g., aerosol cans, touch up pens, pints, etc. They supply paint to many of the major manufacturers. Here: http://www.colorrite.com/product/honda-r109-passion-red-1321.cfm

good to know you can pick up this paint, but at $200 a quart I would consider paying a little more and get a frame powder coated instead.

hello;

if you want something quick and easy instead of going the colorrite route, i think some guys here said lobster or crab red in spray cans from home depot was extremely close.

Yes for $35 a spray can :crazy: or $79.95 for an aerosol repair package.:wondering

Drop a frame at a powder coating shop and pay $250 without breaking out your spray gun

Will have to see what the box stores sell for a close match at $7 a can

Powdercoat is really nice until it starts cracking, chipping, or you wanna change colors. Honda thought paint was good enough.

My .02 :beer

Ive heard Bengal Red is a good powdercoat match, but have not tried it yet.

oh yeah, its not cheap. i just meant that you could get smaller quantities than a 200.00 can of it if you really wanted it bad enough.

Best thing is to bring your fenders (or new fenders) to the store or shop for acurate comparison. When ever i don't do that the colour dosen't come out right.

Rustoleum sunrise red matched veary close if not perfect to passion red. I used rustoleum rusty metel primer and I am very happy with The results. The best part is its only 5 dollars a can instead of 50 for the colorite. Oh and this is for a 200m I'm restoreing its coming along great can't wait to tear up the ground with it.

I used rustoleum sun rise red from home depo, DID NOT MATCH. Was way too orangeish. Looked half decent. Held up well too.

Nohing beats OEM power, but if you don't care too much just spray bomb it. Do a prep, spray, dry, clearcoat and torch it. Clear coat will harden and get glossy, looks pretty good for $10.
