Going to see this tonight. What do you think? Don't see too many built like this since there's not much sand around us.

I can't believe that your asking the question..... I would have already been there!!! I would start my offer at $1000 and see if he will take that or meet in the middle some where though.... Nice looking bike.... but that orange would have to go if I owned that bike...

I kinda like the orange... throw some KTM stickers on it and call it a day lol
But looks like a nice 250r, and a decent price if it runs and drives well.

Super nice trike but again......

you guys are crazy for posting an ad on a 3 wheeler site with thousands of members for a deal like that before its sold. If I were you I'd be biting my nails all day now hoping I didn't give someone else the good deal.......

Good Luck though I hope you get er!

The orange wheels would have to be swapped out to polished. Otherwise the orange isnt bad for me.

I can't believe the attention a clapped out R for $1500 is garnishing. Twisted handle bars, a conduit grab bar, and construction site safety paint are huge clues to what you might find with this bike IMO.

Thank you Fabio - that's why I posted it here - I know there is a lot of wisdom and pointing some of those things out will help me when I take a look in person.

And I was hesitant to post since there are many riders in my area that could swoop in...but what the hey....I've owned a lot of bikes and will buy a lot more bikes...just last night sold a 350X

Agree with Fabio....I would knock some money off for the homemade (and looks welded on) POS grab bar. Also, I can' tell if the subframe is twisted or if the plastics are just sitting on there. Both pegs look to be tweaked down as well. My guess is someone did some serious jumping (possibly) crashing with this bike.

Good Luck

Hold on a sec, price is not bad at all but ask yourself. Are you going to ride as is and put no money into it? Or are you buying to sit on and restore it?
No way would I pay $1500 for that atc. Try and see if he takes $1100 for it you as buyer need to protect yourself. It may need a new chain, new seals, motor may be a bit tired. So if atc needs something replaced you don't get too much money into project and buying low gives you a cushion to play with, but try not to exceed $1500. Just my $.02 have fun with it and enjoy it.

42mm flatslide?? I don't claim to know everything, but is there such a thing besides Lectrons??? Is there a Keihin that can be bored that big?

As always, location location location. In my area that wouldn't be a terrible price for a 3rd gen despite the issues pointed out. Not a steal either though.

Check it over good in all the usual places that will tell you if the owner made an honest attempt at keeping it in descent mechanical order...

I never ask if I should or should not buy something.

My wife can corroborate this statement.

So got a few more pics and the rear fender is botched up from some kind of wreck (warning)

Grab bar is referred to as a 'flip' bar that is not square, but is bolted on (warning)

Told him I'd be around his area this weekend....so not going tonight.... we will see if it does transpire....

some one would probably be asking about 3 grand for that bike here in my neck of the woods

It's honestly don't think it looks that great. The price isn't bad but I would definitely try to get it cheaper.
