I have ordered 2 petcock's for my 200s and both of them the thread on the nut has been oversized. Why is this?

are they aftermarket replacements?

There was a bad batch floating around ebay, I sent one back that wasn't even close. The guy refunded and said they must be for the plastic tank only.

I guess most have a 16mm thread, but there are a few 200s's with a 14mm petcock thread. Mine was in that batch of few. Only handful of Ebay members recognize this, and just so happens the 2nd seller I got one from was one, but I missed that in the description, so after spending about $25 in petcock's that were useless to me, I opted to cutting the spout off the tank and welded in a 16mm stud. Works great!!
