I'm having problems fouling plugs with my 1984 Honda 250R. I can't go 30 minutes with a champion QN-2C. NGK isn't much better. The only plug that won't foul is a Bosch WR7-DP. My fuel/oil mixture is 20:1. It bogs when it idles and the plug is black, but I blew the engine in it once travelling long distance with this bosch plug???? Any suggestions?

your mixing it too rich try 32:1 or 40:1 and im not sure what plug size an 84 takes but if its the same size as an 85 the use an NGK BR8ES

yea, the new oils dont have to be so thick! I run a safe 40-1 in all my 2 strokes, just fause Im chicken of frying the motor, and most are newer rebuilds with few hours. even that seems kinda "smoky". Probably could thin it out more even.
