Tecate Front Sprocket - lip in or lip out

Does the lip on the front sprocket face out or face in?

Manual says out.

The sprocket on the 85 I have now had the lip in.

It's all torn apart now so I can't eyeball the alignment.

I can't see why you would argue with what Kawi says. Now Suzuki, you're probably better off doing the exact opposite of what they tell you.

I agree but I have a vague memory of the manual for one of my trikes having bad sprocket information. I just can't remember which one...

This thing will be back on its wheels in the next few days and I can verify

the raised boss portion of the front sprocket faces out away from the motor.
