Hey Guys,
This one has been a long time in the making. The pictures leave me with few words to say...One of the toughest builds to date. Years of collecting NOS. The photos did not go in the order I wanted. There is one photo in there of how this machine started out....I will be doing a few 10 year Anniversary photo shoots this year. The Franks machines will be late summer. I can say that one will also be a treat!

I must ask, do you plan to ride it? And i mean ride it, not just for a putt around the house now and then to show it off.
I honestly wouldnt know what to do, how many are in that kind of condition that exist today? Its practically brand new.
Must be tempting.

I'm looking online and it looks like some of the Cagiva bikes actually use the same frame as the three wheeler...at least from the pictures. In fact the gas tank and shrouds look identical on some models.

You've got that backwards, kiddo. Cagiva's started off as an Italian MX bike. They were imported and then converted into trikes by Tricky Dicks. Frame mods, swing arm and triples. Tada, one hot little trike!

AMAZING work as always! Jeez is it beautiful.... Would you mind if I shared it on the 3 Wheeler Appreciation Team Facebook page?

Yes, that's what I am saying  The differences can't be that big, or at least I wouldn't think. Just thinking it might be easier to outsource for parts.

I was thinking the same thing after I posted the pictures ...it actually has deeper color and has a nicer shine in person. that doesn't happen often !

Very exciting build. One can only imagine how many hours involved in rounding up all those NOS Parts. It's a pleasure to see such a build. Those trikes were the real deal out of the crate racer. Rodney Gentry from florida made his fly.

It never entered my mind to give up on this one. For those who don't know me (lots of new names here) I had a pretty kick ass collection of Japanese machines for a while in various stages. I searched high and low for rare ATC, tecate and Tri Z parts and was very successful. I lost interest in those machines once I entered Tiger, Franks and Cagiva territory and sold them off. I have over 15 builds going on at once and it is easy to get overwhelmed. Slow and steady is winning this race. I always have different specialists/experts at their given trade busy at any given moment. I am seeing all of these to the end game of taking a huge group photo of these rare builds. It is actually getting close. The Franks machines are coming along beyond all of my wildest expectations. Mike at vintage and Robert have had a sneak peak at those...I don't think anyone will be disappointed. Slow and steady case in point......just this week, I had the opportunity to trade for a 1st generation tiger wide front end model PVC radiator shroud without the fish gills...all of these years collecting tigers and I never even saw one before aside from in an ATV news picture....that's what keeps me going!!! Just because I haven't been on the boards much doesn't mean I have lost interest...I am out there earning money 7 days a week so I can bring this dream of the ultimate rare collection to fruition ! Thanks! Yes I have to get back to those sites for an update...Really busy through June. Maybe this summer/fall I can update them.

Really good to get an update bill, I thought for a while something might have happened and you put trikes on the back burner. It turned out great and man it is nice to see that franks next to it. One of the best contributors to this forum, thank you. And if you get any free time, update the Google pages, if you forgot about them here they are. Nice work and I look forward to the day we all can see the group photo.

Amazing machine.

Hey thanks, I scaled down the collection but not enough. I sold most of the Japanese machines a few years back to make room for the rare ones. Over the last few years, I have sold most of my duplicate tigers. I still have the extra TIGER super 4 "project" that I am selling. I kept the 86 ATC 250r and 86 Fourtrax 250r as well as kept a low hour 86 quadracer and 85 quadsport that I run around the property on nice days. I have been in the process of restoring the 5 -80 cc mini bikes my friends and I had 28 years ago. 4/5 are done. In addition to those, I have 2 other 250cc 86 and 87 motocross bikes. So the current count is 11 tigers, 4 Kelvin Franks machine, 1 cagiva, 4 jap vintage ATV's, and 7 mx bikes= 26. I have stopped buying for a while now. My hands are full with these restorations. I saw a note from you the other day in my profile from 2 years ago. Not sure if I ever responded. I typically don't see those. Did you ever get the file for the tri Z banner? I was going to list mine on ebay. OC

I have a picture at my shop with 20 tigers (including chassis project bikes). That's more than any tiger factory photo that exists to date.

I just looked up that thread. How amazing, nobody else probably has that many rare machines in their personal collection. Most people here will never see a tiger in person in their life and you got so many projects just in your shop. Which the shop looks cool too with the banners and the honda dealership letters. Charge admission for that place, id go.
