I have a set of 4snows which are the same thing and my sister ran them on her 350x at little sahara week before last. Gary Crum also ran a set of original pro wedge's on his 600 powered 350x on that ride. Both of them got around fine with them. Personally they will probably be lighter and easier to ride with than molded tires like sand stars but thats just my opinion. I like skat traks

Pro wedges work real well in the sand on 350x's. They are a tad tall though.

these are 22x11x9 should I be looking more for a 21 or 20" tire?

If you want much better cornering ability go with some 20"s. If you want maximum flotation air down those 22"s. Those Pro-wedges have amazing forward bite, straight line traction is like a cat on carpet.

If you still have the stock knobbies, just run those.

Actually, mine are 20x10x9 like came on the 250R instead of 22s.

I ran these all weekend at the dunes during the same trip as JasonB with no issues. I actually have a set of paddles for the X but I haven't used them in 3 dune trips. The knobbies work great.

The R likes paddles better on the sand, though.

But if your choice is Pro Wedges or Sand Stars, use the Pro Wedges - based on observation not personal experience. 22s are fine - especially for $100 on wheels.

I dont ride sand but I have several sets of prowedge tires and they work great in snow, mud just about any soft terrain. I use a set for drag racing aswell. From what Iv read they are the one of the litest tires out there.
