quick question

My buddy has got a Honda,that ill be buying on Friday.he says its a 250 br.but I do know it has no rear suspension.it has hi/low and electric start.so I'm really not sure what model it is,?and its complete except for missing front fender and ignition switch.rear fenders rack great shape,tires the same.needs some paint and little lovin,but for 100 clams I can't pass it up.ill try to post some pics on Fri when I get it.thanks all

It is not a big red 250es if it has no rear suspension. More than likely a 200cc big red. If it has reverse it is an 84 Big red 200es.

He said no reverse.I do know there is no rear suspension.the model number sticker is long gone and I didntbthink to get vin to check on front page(didn't relize had that section).

82 or 83 big red 200e if it has electric start and dual range transmission.

I believe 82-83 200 es big red chain drive no reverse. 84 switched to shaft drive and reverse. Both have dual range tranny

There were no 82-83 200es.......they were a 200e. 84 was the only 200es. You may want to change your sig......

need to see a pic to be sure. hell, from the description, it could be a 125m, or 200m in various years. best to post a pic. cant really go wrong for a hundo either way. also, not trying to start trouble or thread hijack, but didnt a member here post pics of his 1985 200es? i seem to remember that from a few months back. he had two, and was selling one and keeping one. they exist.
