83 200E, 1984-85 200M, or 84 200es. Front Suspension, Keyed ignition, and starter motor narrow it down. Not sure how to tell past that.

not sure where the fun of this comes in , but looks to me like a 84 es with a 200m front fork on it .

200e will have hi/low, 200m will just have e-start. 200es will have reverse.
83-84 will have the downshift pattern, 85+ will have upshift. I can't zoom in enough on my iPod to see if it has a dual range transmission or not.

It's definitely not an 84 Big Red 200es. It does have the Hi/Low, so to me it looks like an 83 Honda Big Red 200E with 200M forks.

Alrighty then... So everyone is in the ballpark.
I wanted to use this as a good example to show how Honda was able to recycle parts
through many models and still give consumers the variety of machines they wanted.

So here is the actual parts brakedown... Keep in mind that yes, some parts are infact the same
for one model as it is to another...

Forks: '83 185
Tank: '84 Big Red
Frame: 200m
Fenders: '84 Big Red w/Rack
Engine: 200e

I dispute the part of it having an "85 Big Red Tank" claim. It looks like the 200ES or 200E type tanks that interchange to me.

Oops, yep you are right about the tank, I hit the 5 instead of the 4 when typing on my phone. That's what I get for not proof reading... :/ I'll see about correcting that.
