View Full Version : Yamaha 225 DX......N?
Anyone know what the different model numbers mean on these Trikes? I have a DXN... So whats the difference between that and a DX? Is it just a year designator or something?

DXK = 1983
DXL = 1984
DXN = 1985
DXS = 1986
It is the same thing for the 200 and the 200E.

I would just tell people that the "N" stands for the fact that it came stock with a Neutral indicator light ;)

Mine is from the DX Series. I am also waiting for the upcoming Hero Xpulse 300 Adventure bike. This new upcoming adventure bike will hit the markets soon. Mototech India (https://www.mototechindia.com/hero-xpulse-300/) article says, the new XPulse 300 will come with a single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and liquid-cooling technology. Along with off-road capabilities, it will be good for everyday use. One of the main aspects that makes it stand out from Yamaha dual sport bikes is that the Hero Xpulse 300 will be priced very competitively. The XPulse 300 will compete with Honda and Yamaha entry-level dual sport bikes like CRF300L, WR250R, and CRF300 Rally. I am really excited about this bike, it looks good and it will be cheaper.
