What a weekend! Got myself an Air Hammer AKA: Fooler

Well, along with getting a half a van load of parts for my '78 K-10 from my Father in law, I got my mitts on something I have been wanting for awhile... A 2nd gen 250r. Last summer a family friends gave me a Honda fuel tank he had laying around for years..turns out to be a 2nd gen R tank in very good condition.

So this weekend, I get a frame, gutted engine, front end, swingarm and axle, foot pegs and a couple other small pieces...

I think I'm going to call this the Johnny Cash build...it's going to be a long "One Piece At A Time" project!

This one is going to be in a corner for awhile before I start getting busy with it..
I have to finish the wife's 350x, get a cylinder bored and ported for my 250r, get a recently acquired ATC70 up to snuff, and several other things before I will be ready to commit the time and finances to the old Air Hammer. This thread will probably be long forgotten by the time I post an update with progress on it, LOL! But it WILL get done. :)

However, I will be watching the classifieds here and over on Foolers for bits and pieces when I have a few extra bucks to spend... One piece at a time! :D

Ive got a top end that I will never use, not sure what bore it's on. You can have it for the price if shipping, it comes with a piston that fits it perfect. It came with my fooler, PM me if u want it, looks ported too.

I was thinking that also. That axle looks pretty beefy too? Maybe stock length after market? Idk I have seen many second gens in the flesh.

I'm not sure on the axle and swingarm guys. Once I get my pig sty of a garage cleaned up and can lay everything out I will get some better pics and post them up for ID.

Unless someone put the axle in backwards, that swingarm looks right-side-up with the sprocket on the normal left side as opposed to the right side that the Air-Hammers are.....

IDK though... I'll post up better pics as soon as I can. For all I know, it might not even be the correct rear end....
