difference in 85-86 honda 250r swingarms?

I was looking at buying a spare swing arm for my 1985 250r atc and got confused from the adds on ebay. Some say the 85 swing arms go on the 86 and vis versa. Does 85-86 both fit on each other but 86 requires a different axle carrier from the 85 and also does 86 require a different shock?. If anyone can help with this information it would greatly be appriciated thanks Glenn Oister

they will both work...however you 'll have to use the original parts meaning all 85 or all 86

axle,carrier,cailpar mount are diffrent from 85 to 86, also top shock mounts are diffrent(just so ya know)
