Have a guy wanting to trade me one.. didn't know suzuki made a 250.. say's it runs but needs a air filter and a front tire batt won't hold a charge
so how hard is it to get parts for? i mean i'm trading a boat with no motor or seats for it so either way i'll end up trading as i have no use for the boat
these are the pics he sent me

A KLT is a Kawasaki.... lol not a suzuki.
I have a 200, I hate the damn things. No backup start, and an electric fuel pump.

As it sits? I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it. Not to mention parts are probably going to be a PITA to find.

I had one, the best time I ever had with it was when I sold it.

looks like it but not sure i'll let ya know tomorrow when he brings it over
the boat to me is useless it will cost me about 600-800 for a motor then i still need seats and the trailer is not the best so
i mean worse comes to worse i get it use it for a bit if something happens part it out.

Probably not a bad trade if you didn't have any use for the boat anyways!
Was that pic in your signature taken at Conlee's in Birch Run?

yea i lost interest in the boat when i found out how much motors cost and then regret getting rid of the tri-z for that and a snowmobile but i got lots of use out of the snowmobile this year and yea my buddy's holding up the sign off my truck from when i was working lol.

They are good little trikes, we have a handful of them ranging from 110s all the way up to the 250. They are a good work trike and will climb anything. Some of them also have a rear diff that can be unlocked.

maybe i'm gonna wait till it warms up and see if i can't get it running good
I would say go for it I love the less common trikes. That thing is clean and def more than a good start to having a very nice looking klt 250. Just bacause parts are harder to find doesnt make it less desirable that just means when you have one complete you will rarely if ever see another one in person. Not sure if speedos came stock on those or not, but if they didnt I imagine that thing is worth a bit.
