How many discs on a super trapp

Ok i have a super trap for now, my dg is on back order (3) months.How many discs should i run on the super. I was told up to 18. Any help thanx

you should take the time to play around with the number of disks to dial in the performance.i belive the fewer the discs the louder it will be but loud doesn't= best performance.btw i would keep the trapp and forget the dg.i think you'll really like it when you find the rite disc set up.

Anti Quad it is the opposite of what you said. Here is a link to 3WW's tech page for tuning Supertrapp mufflers. I would also suggest keeping the Supertrapp and forgeting the DG.

i am running 5 discs in my trapp!! its still noisey! it runs good just noisey,,,,,,

start with 8 and work your way up. anything below 6 or above 8 may and usually does require a jet change.

My supertrapp manual says 6 disks is like stock and you can use up to 20. You can also use the racing end cap which has a hole in it for even less back pressure.

Right now i dont have any discs on it it runs good just its to damn loud.
