This project is what Honda Shouda Did!!:Bounce:Bounce The Super X is the '86 200x with the Quad 200sx stuff! The '86 has the best suspension of all the 200x's and by adding the Electric start:Bounce, Reverse :Bounce:Bounce, & the Auto Clutch should make for an excellent Trail Machine I will keep ya posted on the progress ..........Ol Deuce

Nice, that will be a cool build. You'll have to be creative with your air box and battery box. Maybe you should consider pulling the battery box at the grab bar/tool box mounting area??

Ive seen a first gen 200x with a 200e motor in it but never seen a 200sx motor in one. You plan on doing anything for power upgrades? I never owned a 200sx so i dont know how those motors compare. Well, i never owned a 2nd gen 200x either lol.

I dont know what the air box on the 200x is like but i have seen people run a factory 250r air box and shove a motorcycle battery in it so they have a nice place to carry the bat and air cleaner too. Neat bike idea, looking forward to seeing progress

1st generation 200X motors have more parts available to build the motor. However, everything changed and the 86/87 motor resolves the kicker gear issue and has the best valve adjustment I have ever seen. The 86/87 has flaws as well, but only a few. Don't get me wrong, I have an 86 12:1 that ran a 28mm flatslide and a ported head, SuperTrapp exhaust and it's got plenty of power. Even better for guys under 190lbs....

Wish I had known you were wanting to do this build. I posted an 87 frame up for sale here several times. Still have it. Anyways, I'm super interested in this build of yours!!! I had an 86sx, and it was a super fun little bike!!

I guess he's using the SX frame? Then battery and A/B box won't be an issue at all..........

I honestly don't know.

It's a harbor freight lift! And so it's perfect for the trikes ! I really like it! Ol Deuce

Im gonna try the same thing with an 83 200e frame the I have. I just wanna have reverse and to say i did it lol. Im gonna have to make custom engine mounts all the way around. It looks as if your front mounts dropped right in? what about the rear engine mount? Sprocket alignment?

All the mounting points are in the same location!:Bounce:Bounce I had to cut the right rear upper because the sx engine is wider to the right side than the 200x engine! also the head mount is to wide and to low!:wondering I did order the correct mount for the head! :D
