That is a mud machine! Bet it'll go beyond where the quads can go. He probably chose that model because you don't need to worry about modifying suspension. Personally I would of chose something with hi/low but the lightweight simplicity of the 185 is probably superior for that.

Yeah, I was wondering how many chains he goes through, or why he didn't choose a front tire that would provide a little more buoyancy? Either way, the thought process was pretty awesome!!!

Hey now I love in Louisiana and grew up around dedicated mud machines.
And I can say without a doubt that that is one of the gnarliest 185's I've seen as of yet. Short of my buddy Grizz and his 185. It may not be as high but it'll root 10x harder.
