We have a couple of items coming from Manbearpig so other than new chain/sprockets I think we have everything needed :) Painting the pegs, brake,motor mounts tonight.

Westcoast hubs. Hondaline didnt make hubs, but wurks japan made a few sets for Team Honda. Westcoast designed their hubs after the Team Honda wurks hubs

What you got in store for the powerplant?

Lol, Garret has no idea how special these parts are :) . The motor has a stock bottom end except for the lightened flywheel, and the cylinder is 1st over 10 1/4 to 1 compression with .10 thou milled from head. The Cam is an aftermarket but not sure of lift and duration. No portwork has been done. Bassani pipe is going to get rid of the gasses. The carb is a XR200 carb with a twinair filter. I wanted it to be reliable and I don't plan on racing it unless someone says my dads faster than your dad kinda thing :)

Sounds like a good plan but it may be a little too much white. Its your bike though so if it suits you more power to ya.

I love the idea of the all white scheme, with accents of dark blue. All the bang and minimal flash. Bike scheme color is your taste and appeal and everyone has their own opinion. Keep up the great work can't wait to see the finished product.

Got the 83-84 250R triple clamps mounted up last night but to get the proper length on the stem I had to grind off about 3.5 mm off the bottom of the lower clamp. before I did that modification the first retaining nut only got about 3 threads. Now I feel much better about the swap. 189504

Ok, I got a flywheel puller so I can get the bottom end apart and look for chunks of piston that might be floating around down there. Hopefully not find anything bad and can go back together with the motor. Got the pipe painted and ready to go on when I get that far. To cold to build fence today so I am in the garage :)

I got it through a trade, but I think it is sold through the 3WW Store. Not totally sure but might be built by Bill Golightly of 3WW Fame.

That looks like Xriders old swingarm that now carries the calfab. That is definitely a Bill Golightly stamp on the back and if I remember correctly he modeled the Dico swinger.

I got it from Xrider earlier this year or late last year. The tires are some well worn Dunlop KT 335s . The X don't need to much traction :)

I appreciate all the help with the parts.... Used your cam, rocker cover and ignition part and soon as the caliper arrives we will have back brakes. Looking great for such a time crunch.....DOHC and Manbearpig have been helping with inventory issues.

I sent that caliper 3 day, so it better be there tomorrow!! Checked the pads before it left and they look damn near new so it should be ready to rock.

Never did run that web cam in any of my engines so here's to hoping its a winner. If not Iet me know tonight, and I can overnight a stock cam to wherever you are or will be free of charge.

193082Sorry , that one didn't turn quick enough. Mickey's fender looks really sweet don't you agree. Bruces stickers are top shelf also. We are going to repaint a tank so the white is brighter to match the rest of the trike.

They are Dunlop KT385's and are now discontinued. :(

200X Looks great!!! The low pros really pop on a 200x!!

Yep, thanks for the correction Mr. Clean. Upon closer inspection with my glasses on they do say 385. I would like to have a new set just like them. I wonder why they quit making them?

Tire molds wear out just like all molds, and if that tire happens to not be selling well when the mold wears out........
