not sure what I'm gonna do with these, would love to have them repaired, and re gel-coated. Just a couple cracks on the very edges, and the gel coat is all spiderwebbed. really in great shape considering. Then again I may just hang them as is on the wall. They have a great vintage patina!! I dont really have use for them, just thought they were awsome!!

Very nice set of race memorabilia, I also know what I would do with them.

I wouldn't touch them :) Enjoy them for what they are. I'm beating my brain thinking of all the #7's running back then. Was his 1st name Brian?

I would make a mold from them and produce them for the masses for a reasonable price like Mickey did with his 200x fenders.

Marty Hart ran # 7 until he started running the # 1 plate. They look like 85-6 aftermarket , possably SRP or maybe just the sticker. Would be a great start to recopy for the masses, in my opinion that design is better looking than the maier low pro's that I have.

they are definately SRP, the sticker in kinda embossed, or inset in the gelcoat, must do it before it is fully cured.

SRP should have Dean's business card fiberglassed into the bottom side.. or at least the early ones did.

Great find. Hard to say 100% if they're Marty Hart's... but some things do check out...

Marty would have had access to these fenders, could have been sponsored by Oakley, and that OHTSU H-Trak sticker was a sticker given to team honda racers by the handful. the white numberplate background was also given to Team Honda Racers. I have a couple of those H-trak stickers from team honda #51. also have a set of those white numberplate fender inserts, those same JT stickers, and that same FOX sticker, all from the same source.

anyone have info on Hart's sponsors? Other Team Honda racers were sponsored by different goggle companies, so its reasonable to believe that Hart was indeed an 'Oakley factory pilot'

my vote: that may actually be one of Hart's fenders

That would be extra cool if they were Marty's. I may be able to find out more info on them. Guy I got them from I thought said he bought them on ebay years ago! Cant remember for sure. I wish the H-track sticker was in better shape, but its there!!

does look like a business card under there, but cant make anything out on it, pretty dirty!!

Check out the fender on Marty's trike in the thread Name This Gadget. I see the similarities.

maybe this set was from some starry eyed kid trying to emulate his favorite racers look!! Be much cooler if they actually were Hart's. I see the similarity's there, but alot of the small decals are different.
