i have been trying to work at tghis for a while and now have the ball rolling. 2 members here have spoken for 12 repop tiger rotors between the 2 of them. i have recieved a cad drawing of the new rotor and it will be identical to the original. same thickness, same appearance. i would like to get the number up to 20 and if i do, everyone will save a little more. if you dont get in on this group buy, but intend to buy one later, your gonna be paying as much as $40 more for your's.

I DO NOT HAVE A PRICE YET, but if your interested, expect to pay around $100 each for your rotor. this # is not set in stone, if i can get 20 of them sold i guarantee your gonna get them for less than 100 smacks shipped.

i'm super busy right now with work gearing up as we head into spring. i also have the dune trip in 2 weeks. so this will slowly be updated.

the ball is rolling here, PAT AND BOB C, you guys are in for your 12 pcs, we need to move 8 more to get a decent deal. call other tiger collectors that you know, let them in on this. i will handle this one time on behalf of you 2. thats it, once, after this expect to see these rotors in the range of $125 each before shipping from the manufacturer.

i'll try to get the cad drawing up for you guys, but im busy so be patient.

if you think you may want one, post up and i can see what we come up with.

Thanks again Eric. I have mentioned it to several other members with Tigers over the past few weeks, hopefully they will help us reach the 20 number. I will reach out to them again, and point them to this thread.

thats 16, you guys help out and try to dump the other 4.

according to my guy, the original tiger rotor is 9ga stainless, thats .150 thick. average rotor today is 10ga, .134 thick. if you guys can deal with the .016 difference in thickness we can go with the thinner material and bring the price down. as of now, and again not set in stone, the 9ga look like they are gonna be $80 + shipping each if we get to 20. if we dont, that number is going up a bunch. if we go 10ga, i think we can probably have them for around $65 each

here's the cad drawing.

thanks! i hope my post above has the info in it you need. these are not made yet so if we can get a lot better deal somewhere else i'm not opposed. let us know asap though, with us only needing 4 i dont think it will be long.

I would have to wonder why if you go thinner, why would you refer to them as reproduction? The rotors are warped now, can't imagine going thinner. I'm just a goof though.

so you prefer to stay with the thicker 9ga stainless? thats all i really need to know. not looking for discussion or debate on what is better, just wanna know what you guys wanna pay for.

and dont get me on that technical terminology crap, refresh, reproduction, repop, restored, mint, rare,,,,,, i dont give a crap what they're called, i just wanna get this going.lol

ok guys, $80 each is the best its gonna get. since you four are all taking more than 1 you will only pay shipping for the first one. i will send these to you USPS flat rate once they arrive. the first rotor will probably show up here while i'm on the dune trip so you will not be getting any update's for about 3 weeks. you guys have 3 wks to be prepared to pay. i will get the first rotor and test fit it but no others will be cut until paid for. each of you will get a pm with payment info

just to clarify

i'm back from the dunes and got the 1st rotor. looks really nice guys. i'll try to get a pic up asap. so far i have bolted it to the hub but i wanna have it mounted to the trike before we proceed. i have some stuff going on in my personal life so it may take a little longer than expected.

so i am without a front axle for the 250 as of now due to it being at HRE getting remade along with the front caliper stay. over this week i will drag the 500 out and install this rotor on both ends of it along with the rear of the 250. if all goes well i will be looking for you fella's to start sending payment for the group buy. keep checking in guys and i will have some pictures up by sunday. here's a pic of the new rotor.
