I recently picked up an 84 200s. I got her running good now, but she is badly in need of rubber. Most of my riding takes place in northern ontario, so a lot of rock with some deep mud. I was looking at mud lites for her since they come in stock 22x11-8 are 6ply so tough for the rocks and look great for the mud. I was wondering if they would be to heavy. My buddy has a set of duro HF243 mud &sand on his 185s that work great. Im not much for the look of them but I am considering them. I also found a deal on some carlisle turf tamers. My sx came with these on it it 5years ago. They suck in mud but do get the job done and I haven't torn a sidewall yet. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

If you are on a budget you might find some tires in the last link that suit your needs that might be less than the mud lites. Check the amount of plies.

your friends duro's are 4 ply. i think 6 ply is ok if you ride slow and aren't racing around.

If you were happy with the 4 plies and are concerned about weight, I would stick with 4 plies. They will give a slightly softer ride too.

On my 84 200S I have Kenda Bear Claws in the rear and a Kenda Front Max in the front. I run 4 Snows on the rear in the winter, these pics were from before I bought the 4 Snows.

Ya the Bear claws look sweet. Was just checking royal distributing for a price & to see if they have them in stock. The extra inch in width shouldnt be a problem.Love that ski scootertrash I seen it in one of your other threads and think I might have to build one. Thanks for the input guys
