..... Out the pin holding on your rear shock or else this can happen to you! In fact, i was only drinking bottled water! Lol holding the punch, whacking it with a mallet, missed three times and this is what i found after washing my hands... I thought my finger was numb from being cold!

Lol nice thread, I smashed my pointer finger so hard last night tightening a motor mount bolt on the 500 that I thought I ripped the nail off backwards. Finger injuries suck!

the nail is ok, just a bit purple as is the rest of the finger...lol it was cold out so when I hit it I was like "OWCH!!!" then id go back to what I was doing... while I was working I kept thinking, "Its getting so cold I cant feel my fingers..." then when I went inside and washed my hands I saw it...lol and once in the shower with the warm water, that's when the pain started! it hurt like hell and now it hurts off and on esp when I hit it on something!

Owwwitch!!! like Jason said, finger injuries suck, it's like the ending of the nerves are at the tip of the digits & ANY kind of wham or cut hurts like helll, much worse than anywhere else.

Probably going to have to take a tiny drill bit and relieve the pressure under that nail. Sounds gross, but you will feel better to get that pressure out....

It will probably squirt nasty blood across the room! Don't ask me how I know... ;)

I don't think I need to do the nail thing, the swelling seems to be the under side of the finger... its all purple and is spreading down to the rest of it but I think its starting to go down as its not as painful or throbbing as it was the other day. what a good time I had prying off my wedding ring though... had to use Air tool oil to get it off! I punctured the big blood blister and its still bleeding out slowly, like a weep, two days now. I guess with the swelling, its putting pressure on it and forcing it out.
