Just wanted to show people who want to run heel guards a very easy option that requires nothing besides 2 little home made brackets! These guards are off a yamaha blaster and they basically mount right up. I am using trx450r foot pegs but this will work with stock pegs as well. Just need to drill holes for the guards to mount up to. I usually run a set of cut fenders and these will help to keep your feet out of the danger zone lol. They will be nice when running full fenders as well. Feel free to ask any questions. Braap on

Thanks for sharing..-Are the pegs half & half? 250R brackets/450R pegs? Hard to tell for me. Got some closer-up pics?

Yes, they are half and half. I made some brackets at work out of .500" plate but forgot them and got impatient over the weekend lol. I cut the old mounting points off the original 250r mounts and welded the 450r pegs in their place, they use the 2 original mounting points on the frame so they are welded and bolted on basically lol. Let me try and scrounge up some pics. There is a thread on here as well about how to do that (peg mod)

I may not be the best welder but hell, i had 100% penetration (hahahaha) so whatev lol. I plan on making them smooth and PCing them anyways. The first pic shows the big difference between the old 250r pegs and the newer un bent 450r pegs!

The Honda welds werent pretty to begin with anyway. -It'll look much better smoothed out & PCd though for sure.
