The Trike:
1983 Honda 250r
The Problem:
1)When I let the trike idle after it is warmed up, it seems to rev up, and if it is in nuetral, and I open the throttle any, it starts to rev up, but once I have it in gear it slaps back to normal rev.
2) I have noticed a loss in compress maybe, it seems to get harder and harder to start. Used to start first kick, now it takes several.. trying to get the right throttle mixture.
The Climate:
It has recently gotten cold, and I havnt road in a while since it was warm. It wasnt very humid outside, and it wasnt a real lack of it, so its about normal riding conditions, besides the cooler weather.
The solution:
I dont know, is time to rejet? If so which should I go, up or down. It was at 150, but it ran really sluggish during the summer, so I rebuilt it and put the stock main jet in, which is 140. That fixed the slugishness during the summer. But do I need to see about rejetting now?
Hopefully we can figure it out though.
