Just found this locally for $300 OBO. Walked away with it for $275. Fully suspended 1981 ATC 185S. Looks to be a rear suspension kit. Not sure on the forks, anyone know? Rear shock is a dual spring Fox unit with a rezzie. Engine appears to me tweaked a little bit. Has killer compressions and runs very strong! Anyone know if I can get the front forks re-built?? How about the rear shock?

Got really lucky. I had a feeling it was someone with no idea what they had and sure enough, it was some kid that bought it from the original owner and had no clue. I asked him "do these normally have shocks"?? and he just shrugged. This will go into the collection, and make a few Glamis trips!

The tripples look like the ones I have. No clue on who made them or if they are homemade. These came from cali as well.

Yes random CL find. Gotta love it!! I am really excited about this one. Good timing as it appears that my Pauter machine PJ 1 frame was sold for scrap by one of my workers on the property.

Not first gen tecate, the location of the bolt to tighten the clamp is different, and there are no mounting holes for the radiator.

What?????????????
Yep. Had the PJ-1 frame set aside with a bunch of cool retro/racer parts for an Ace Williams tribute build. I had it all set aside in one of the horse stables and the frame is gone. I have had the workers/worker ask me in the past if I had any scrap metal for them, so my guess is that is where it went. Not like someone would have any idea what it was.
