Can anyone help me identify these axles?
I am using the top and bottom one for projects, the other (2) are likely for sale soon, but I need to know what they are.
They both came out of 86 tecates, but they both have the 85 spline pattern (13 spline).
The one with the taper at the center of the axle is 40", or +6 over stock.
The one that is the same dimension (non-tapered center) is 39", +5?
Anyway there are some distinct differences, just wondering if anyone can I.D. them.
The top one, with the 23 spline pattern - 86 correct, is a JP I believe.
Thanks for the help.186733

I believe the two to the left are finsh line, people call them jimmy white axles. This is going off memory though, im out of town or id compare it to mine. The one with the 86 splines is only the third one ive seen, i have one and someone else on these boards has one. Nstyle maybe?

The one on the far right looks just like a durablue I just bought.

Ya, the one on the right I figured was obscure - it has been refurbed and will be installed on my main build.
I'm using one of the Jimmy Whites for another tecate - rider and the other 2 are TBD. Probably sell them off.
Is there are chance that 39" is from another bike? Maybe an 84 Tecate - not sure if they had 13 splines? Maybe off a Honda from that era?
I don't know? I'll look back at some old photos and see what bike it came out of, but it came out of an 86 Tecate that's for sure - so it works!

Im not 100% positive but I think the left 2 are finishline..
My 2nd gen finishline has 1st gen splines.. the guys use to mod the 84 T3 hubs to run 8 and 9 inch rims..

BKM, so you just bought a DB like the one on the right, with 23 splines?
Was it just listed as a DB, is there any proof?
Another question then - are the one's on the left maybe JP Axcalibers if they aren't DB's. Didn't team green run JP axles.
This is a fuzzy topic and one that seems rarely discussed. It's tough because no one marked their axles to allow us to properly ID them. Plus , there are very few images in the mags that help clear up the topic.
Hmm...

And now we have (3) -
1. JP Racing
2. DuraBlue
3. Finishline

It was listed as a stock axle. Just Ben identified it for me and then when I got it you could see where the durablue decal was. I posted a thread on it labeled eBay score of the day if you want to look at it and compare.

look like you have 3 finish lines and a durablue. The 39" one is an adjustable axle and should have 1/2" spacers.

Cool, I'd say that's not a bad thing.
Spacers...No idea what those look like, where they might be, etc. Do you have any knowledge of these spacers, a photo? I may have them bagged up somewhere, or they are gone.
LMK, please.

I got a bit confused with the picture and description, i thought one of the ones ob the left had 86 splines till i zoomed in. Disregard everything i said

If you don't have the spacers it's not a big deal. I made some using 1" black pipe. all you need is 2 1/2" pieces of the pipe. With the spacers on the inside behind the hub makes it a +5, with them on the outside behind the castle nut and washer it's a +4. If you end up selling that one let me know I could always use another.
