1981 250r atc seat

I need a complete seat for my 81 250r atc.. Anyone know what year's will fit on an 81, and does anyone know where the heck I can find one. I have been looking on Ebay for 2 months now and no luck. Thanks, Wichy

I had an '86 250R Hi-Flite seat on my '82R. I believe it was mounted to the stock '82 pan, which bolted to the rear fender.

Where are you located Wicky?
I have an 82 parts trike out in the yard with a seat and pan on it. Will have to go out and take a picture when it warms up a bit.

81-82 are the same, they were steel and are usually rusted to nothing.
I picked one up from out in California, and it was rusted and had holes, but was repairable. Good Luck on your search!!!

Actually the '81 and '82 seat pans and rear plastic were a little bit different. The '81s had a notch/bulge in them to clear the air intake, which was located under the seat in the '81s!!. In '82, they moved the intake into the frame up tube (thank god) and actually changed the seat pan and rear fender by removing the bulge.
