425 case clearence

Can anyone tell me how much material has to come out of the 350x casses, in order to fit the 425 big bore cylinder? If its just a bit, could a guy do it with a die grinder?

I know a guy that did a 483 JE with a die grinder and rags,,never split the cases lol. Def not recommending this! But it's been done.

To my understanding, theres nothing down there round the base of the cylinder, that is imparitve, that it be machined, so why not a die grinder? Doesnt look like anything else would be effected if I did? If I did take it to a machine shop, they would have to seperate the cases no? Aint gunna get that done up here.!!..LOL
