You using a race kart axle? I'm planning in that for my 200x.. You can do anything you want with them! Looks great, tri-z right? Thanks for the post!

yep it sure is a triz , I don't have the axle yet that's just a stub that I'm using to mak everything up, so far no machining still waiting on the sprocket hub and the sprocket. The axel I ordered is 48 inches wide chromoly 4130 quarter inch wall. Still in R&D stages.

Yeah that's genius. My friend pat who owns a tiger 500 has a race kart axle, I mentioned swapping over to that and a few guys basically thought I was nuts! Lol glad to see some one else doing it too! I think it's gonna be awesome.. Can have any off set, parts are cheap(and readily available). On a 200x it's even easier because it doesn't use a carrier for chain tension, it adjusts in the swingarm. I'm gonna start another swingarm soon. Then all I'll need is a way to off set my front brake.

Eddie did his for last year and He said they had welded it around and It broke so they made it insert into the Go Cart axle and plug welded it. It worked for a bunch of events but as he said It broke again. I gave my son a bent axle That I had. He turned the length down so it would fit inside the go cart axle and plug welded it also and he had to cut off the splines on the left side so he used that to practice weld. He beveled the cut and welded it! he said it took him quite awhile as he didn't want to put to much heat on it and didn't want it pulling to 1 side or the other which would make it wobble. Said it took about 6 hours to weld it. I Brought the axle that was in it to the races just in the case ours broke like Eddies. I will take some photo's of it when I go out latter. We can't get the wheels for the hubs we have always ran so somebody had to come up with something . That was Eddie and we are hear to try and make it work. Just so you all know Eddie won with his Last year and My son won with his this year, So there is a lot that can be said for what Eddie came up with. Myself I do Not think ours will break And I will have one on my flat tracker also. Besides it uses an axle that was junk before and freed up another Durablue for another project.

Jason ,A member on here and other trike sites OlDeuce took a 200x front hub and turned it on his lathe. And set it up to accept a 8 inch rim. This could work for a homemade missle kit. 185658 185658 185659 185660 185661
