1985 Honda 250 SX - Purchase Advice ?

I have a chance to get a 1985 Honda 250 SX locally - I have always wanted to get another trike - it's been awhile... In any case I have a beat on what looks to be a pretty nice trike and looks to be completely stock. Does anybody think $900.00 is too much or about right.. I did do a blue book lookup and it states $970.00 so I thought I was just about right.

Not bad looking man. I'd say if its as nice as it appears to be it would probably get $1100-$1200 on ebay.

That thing looks really clean. I would pay $900 as long as it runs as good as it looks. They are probably the best cruising trikes wit electric start and reverse.

I think I saw that SX sell on eaby about a month ago. yeah, its worth $900. If thats the trike from the picture then it is definetly worth 900$. You should check out a couple of the pricey items on it before you buy like the oil in the differential to see what condition it's in. I had to deal with buying a new differential for mine a couple months ago when I bought it :x . good luck!!

Yup, that is an ebay Trike - I have been waiting for a local one to come up.. No one seems to ship these ( I kind of understand why)... So I am going to keep my eye on it...

I hope I can land this one.. I want to put a rear rack on it so I can do my "straight-up wheelie rack scrape" down the snow covered street like the good ol' days.. :twisted:

Heh, I've done those before my rack broke. Not on purpose though. :(
