Can anyone give me any advice on where to cut the swingarm and how thick the steel is and how long I should extend it? I want to extend my swingarm, and don't know how much it would cost. I can cut and weld
Myself but how much for a new chain and brake line? Any other problems I should worry about?

I cut my swingarm between the shock mount and axle carrier on my 200x, then I got some 2" long tube the right size and thickness. TIG welded everything together and just yesterday welded some fish plates on the side for added strength.<br>Your best bet is to drill a 1/4" hole in the swinger near where you're going to cut it and measure the thickness using a depth mic on a set of calipers. My tube for example was 60mm x 30mm x 2.30mm rectangular tube. The 350x will be a different size. The company I ordered from sent me a free 6" sample of the tube and that was all I needed.

The company I ordered from sent me a 6" free sample. I cut it into three EXACT 2" sections and used two of them for the swingarm (one for each rail), the third is a backup. (my swingarm is a +2)
Sleeving is very strong and works well and if I put in my opinion I'm going to get tore up like I did in my thread. I do not think that sleeving is a MUST, but you gotta remember you have 150cc more than my bike. I recommend it, but can it be done without it? yes.
Extended swingarms and extended axles work well together but it's not a necessity.

Yep!
I had to use the BIG bandsaw at work to cut the swingarm in half precisely, but other than that 100% free
You may want to send a PM to KASEY, he does a lot of fabrication work with complete bikes and does very well with swingarms

I wonder how much he would charge to extend mine. I am wanting the badass extended look, and width,
Without buying a 350 dollar axle if you see what I am saying.

Extended hubs work well for width. Some are 2" extra on each side, so thats the same as a +4 axle
I dont know if Richard (KASEY) will do it. Idk if he does work for other people. Worst case scenario you ask and he says no.

Extended swingarm, wheel spacers/extended hubs, new seat cover, new fork boots, new hand grips. Want to make my X look amazing. Trying to figure out different ways of doing so.
