Here's to the ATC 250SX, the most versatile of them all, made by the best.
I first rode Dan's when I was young. The power, the control, I was hooked. Fast forward twenty plus years I think. The mountains of New Hampshire showed me who's boss on my R. Not long after that, I find a deal on a nice SX and snatch it up. Bone stock, it destroys the mountains. I feel I need not say more.
I've had a couple drinks tonight. I came home and turned the key, then I hit the start button. She fired right up as usual. I turned on my heated grips and went inside to get the wood stove going. I came out to nice heated grips and a machine not missing a beat. At that point I reversed out of the garage and did some wheelies out in the front yard. The concept here is, if you do it enough, everyone will be used to it. Four years now and running. One local, one sheriff, and one statey all in the last two months, but I'm not breaking any laws. Wheelies for all I guess, or at least for me.
I'm not certain the point of this post, I may delete it tomorrow morning. I just love getting on such an "old" (still seems new to me) machine and watching what it can do, thinking of the little Japanese guy who created this thing being like "Yeah, at least 4th gear wheelies for sure!" Haha, I hate quads.
Forgive me. I've had a good night.
