Nice find, what are you missing? There's a 200 tiger engine on eBay, it's been there for a while now.

Do you have any extra parts that came with it? I have some parts that I'd be willing to trade.

needs a few things:
Front fender, rad shroud, radiator, rear shock, carb intake, electrical/wiring, carb is not corret, silencer, pipe is rusted through in one spot...
I am getting close to securing a Tiger 500 as well. Keeping my fingers crossed.

it looks like that was setup for racing, the carb may have been an upgraded carb? post detailed photos before you disregard it. You may actually have a piece of racing history on your hands there. (the entire bike that is) that rear number scheme looks familiar. Anyone else seen it?

Would have been a local guy from upstate NY. It was bought originally from a local dealership in central NY
I don;t know anyone that would pay $2300 for that motor... that pretty steep!
Would be nice to see another tiger build come together

find a rotax dealer for the engine parts, probably most of it is still available. front and rear fender, shroud, and number plates have all been reproduced. 200x seat foam and cover. all the bearings ahould be american. MIke at HRE for repop foot pegs, bearing carriers, and grab bars.
i hate to push the search feature but if you try it you should find lots of info on tigers. check out http://www.bluelinedecals.com/ for some information and repop graphics.
here's another place https://sites.google.com/site/tigerrotax/home
be sure to post of lots of pics of this coming together. hope to see it on the track next yr.

Id try using a 1st gen Tecate radiator, not sure if there could be any harm? There is a pic on that tiger site with a similar front mount radiator. You have a great start to build on, I called that Rotax shop in CA and they do have pretty much everything to rebuild your engine,,, shifters and kick starters too!
I'm still trying to find time to pull my 200 out for a rebuild, we need to get Blue27 to make more fender and shrouds!! Seems like Tigers are showing up more and more.

Just keep in mind, most of the parts aren't that hard to get. Just mainly the 200 piston, cylinder and such.
